AR Familiarization
Course is a three-hour non-firing class. Students will learn the history and nomenclature of the AR platform rifle; learn how to field strip and clean their rifle; reassemble and function check their rifle after disassembly and cleaning; zeroing the rifle; shooting from the prone, sitting, kneeling and standing positions, and be offered continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive a Modern Tactical course completion certificate.

Modern Tactical Course Enrollment & Payment Policy
Full payment or deposit (when applicable) is required to hold your seat in a class. It must be received within ten days of your placement on the class roster.
Full payment must be received at least five days from the class start date. If payment does not arrive within this time frame you will be dropped from the class and your deposit is forfeited.
Unexpected family emergencies (Deaths, illness, births, etc.) are the only reasons to drop out from a class without penalty. Within five days of the class start date there is no refund except as mentioned. Other cancellations are credited towards a future Modern Tactical class and will be handled on a case by case basis.
Special Consideration will be taken for deploying military & law enforcement.
Modern Tactical presents courses designed for defensive and tactical training. In order to allow you to get the most realistic training possible, our standing policy is NO COMPETITION WEAPONS OR GEAR. Pistol triggers MUST be at least 3.5 lbs with a recommended 5 lbs. Triggers will be tested prior to class.
All participants must provide a COMPLETE training application. These applications are good for a period of one year.
In Accordance with ITAR Regulations, only U.S. Citizens will be accepted to participate in Modern Tactical Courses.
